After Schools

Christ the King Primary School has been a part of the Extended Schools Programme for a number of years now.

We are delighted to be a part of the programme as it adds more variety to the activities we already offer to our children.

This year we are running:

  • Music Clubs- Children will be given the opportunity to learn the guitar and the tin whistle- receiving expert tuition from Rory and Nuala.

  • Gardening Club- under the expert guidance of Marella Fyffe we are learning how to make the most of our poly tunnel and raised beds. We have planted fruit and vegetables that we will look after throughout the year and harvest over the summer holidays. It is a great opportunity for us to learn life skills and teach everyone at home what we have learned about the garden.

  • Wrap around care (Foundation Stage) - we offer a facility where the children can attend breakfast club and avail of after school care in the homework club. This is a great help to parents and ensure the children are looked after in a child centred environment.

  • Bring your parents to school- where we will invite parents into school to take part in activities such as the Big Breakfast, Dollybird Vintage workshops etc. Keep an eye on the newsletters for further information.

Christ the King Primary School is also a member of the Omagh Cluster which allows us to share resources and programmes.
