On Wednesday 25th March, Christ the King hosted an information Numeracy evening for children and parents from Year 5-7 to have fun learning in Numeracy. Everybody had the opportunity to use a wall of 9 cubes to present their answers and to show that in Numeracy, there are many different strategies to finding the solution. Franz, the inventor of the cubes, also facilitated the course and had children and parents in awe as to how fun Numeracy really is. IZAK 9 is currently being used by the teachers in Year 5-7 to support Mental Maths, Problem Solving and Investigations.
