Curriculum In Year 3 we will be learning about lots of new and exciting things across the curriculum. Watch this space! Literacy: In Year 3 we will be following the Read Write Inc programme. We will be reading lots of challenging books and will be taking part in a range of writing genres relating to the books. You will be amazed with the level of our writing, it really is terrific!
Numeracy: In Year 3 we cover a range of topics. We learn about Processes in Maths, Number, Data Handling, Measures and Shape and Space.
Religion: We will be following the Grow in Love programme and be learning about the different celebrations in the church year. Fr Kevin and Fr Declan will also visit us throughout the year.

Personal Development and Mutual Understanding: Through PDMU we are given lots of opportunities to explore our personal and emotional development. We identify how to keep healthy and stay safe and we also explore our relationships with our family, friends, the school community and the wider community. We are using the PATHS programme in PDMU.
I.C.T: In Year 3 we will be using ICT in lots of different ways on a daily basis. We will use the laptops and IPads as a class. We will explore and develop lots of new skills in Using ICT.
P.E: Year 3 have P.E. on Thursday and Friday. Please wear the appropriate P.E. kit on these days.
The Arts: All of the Arts will be delivered through our World Around Us topic. During activity based learning we take part in fun and exciting music and drama activities.
