Christ the King Primary School has been a part of the Extended Schools Programme for a number of years now.
We are delighted to be a part of the programme as it adds more variety to the activities we already offer to our children.
This year we are running:
- Wrap around care (Foundation Stage) - we offer a facility where the children can attend our early morning drop off club from 8:15am and avail of after school care in the various afterschool activities offered throughout the year.
We work in conjunction with Strathroy Afterschool Club, which offers parents afterschool care until 5:30pm. This is a great help to parents and ensure the children are looked after in a child centred environment.
- Afterschool Gaelic football, Netball and Pro Soccer Coaching, Lego club, Art club.
- Bring your parents to school- where we will invite parents in to school to take part in activities such as St Brigid’s Day making crosses and St Patrick’s Day Ceili.
Christ the King Primary School is also a member of the Omagh Cluster which allows us to share resources and programmes.
