Huge thanks to Miss Gormley, who as part of her Masters Degree ran a programme in school with Years 5-7 around basketball.
The 6 week programme asked the children to run their own tournaments and learn the fundamental skills needed for basketball. They had to referee their own games and were given a sense of ownership to the competition.
Judging by all the noise coming from the Assembly Hall today, I think they really enjoyed these sessions.
