Catholic Schools Week 2022

17th Jan 2022

Catholic Schools Week commences on Sunday 23rd January 2022 - Sunday 30th January 2022 and the theme for this year is Catholic Schools: Living Life to the Full. Children will be taking part in a variety of lessons and activities based on the main theme. More information on this is available on the Whole School Newsletter on the school website.

Themes

Monday - Living Life to the Full with God

Each one of us is unique as we are born with our own gifts and talents. God wants us to discover and develop our talents and to use them to make the world a better and kinder place.

Tuesday - Living Life to the Full Together

We learn many things in school reading and tables but we also learn how to be a good friend and how to be helpful and kind. God asks us to learn on how to be the best we can be, being kind to ourselves, each other and the world around us.

Wednesday - Grandparents' Day: Celebrating Being Together Again

Our Grandparents can teach us about the past and about the importance of working hard and doing our best. They are teachers who show us how to love, how to be caring and how to share.

Thursday - Living Life in Wonder and Awe

We are called to remember that we are responsible for keeping our environment a safe and beautiful place to live in. In our Catholic school, we use our gifts and talents to make the world a better place.

Friday - Living Life and Facing the Future

We are asked to think about how we live life to the full and face the future. The COVID-19 pandemic brought so many changes and challenges to our lives. As we reflect on this, we look forward with hope to the future. Together, as a community that is kind and cares for each other, we look to the future with the hope and the joy of the resurrection.
