Well the school Gaelic teams definitely saved their best for the last tournament of the year - the annual Donnelly Cup.
Two mixed teams went out today in awful conditions at Killyclogher GAA. CTK 1 made it to the final of the shield and were beaten by Mountfield. Team 2 beat Gaelscoil in the final to win the Cappagh Cup.
We are so proud of all their efforts - every single player out today played their heart out and wore their Christ the King jersey with pride and their efforts paid off! It’s great to see the hard work put in through the year paying off and thanks to Mr Tierney, Mrs Quinn and Jacqueline for coaching and supporting the pupils.
Thanks also to Killyclogher GAA for a well organised tournament.
