Ulster Council Sport4Peace
8th May 2026
Today our P7s went to Omagh Lesiure Centre for the end of the Sport4Peace programme ran by the Ulster Council. Over the last 6 weeks, our P7s have taken part in a number of sessions playing Gaelic football, soccer and rugby and have loved every minute. Today they joined three schools - Omagh County PS, Omagh Integrated PS and Holy Family PS- and had a go playing these sports and making new friends and even received a bag of equipment to make sure we keep these sports going in school. Some of our cheeky P7s even got in a bit of “bother” with the police who were there as community outreach. A huge thank you to the Ulster Council team for the work they’ve done.
